For our client, an international FMCG company based in Germany, we are looking for ambitious and experienced candidates for the position of Finance Manager.
Responsibilites
- Higher education in economics (ACCA or CIMA qualifications would be an additional advantage),
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar managerial position in commercial controlling (preferably in the FMCG industry),
- Experience in improving financial and business processes in an organization, implementing new controlling tools,
- Knowledge of modern reporting standards based on IFRS and a very good understanding of commercial controlling and finance topics,
- Very good proficiency in IT tools (ERP, BI) aimed atsupporting business operations,
- High level of independence and proactive approach,
- Very good command of the English language, knowledge of German will be an additional advantage.
Requirements
- Preparation of the annual budget, monthly forecasts,and short- and medium-term plans, management reporting, and participation in the decision-making process for key business decisions.
- Active support to business units: sales forecasting, marketing and operational budget planning, preparation of analyses, reports,and presentations for headquarters and internal clients.
- Preparation of financial models and analyses for commercial departments, budget control for the aforementioned departments, explanation of variances, and recommending optimization actions, anticipating financial and business risks.
- Responsibility for analyzing competition and market trends, monitoring the profitability of channels, clients, and products.
- Creation, maintenance, and enhancement of key businessindicators.
- Training employees in the areas of commercial financeand controlling tools.
- Managing a subordinate team (accounting andcontrolling).
- Responsibility for the development and improvement of controlling tools.
